Amitrix's SCSI-TV SCSI Interface.

This SCSI interface is by Amitrix, Developers of the very popular Aweb web browser and floppy network solution, It has both an internal 50 Pin SCSI 1 and 25 Pin Female external connector and also has an Enable / Disable switch for when you want to set up the preferences or listen to an audio CD using the great built in CD player and if that isnt enough the design is done in such a way that makes it possiable to mount a (Very rare) 2.5" SCSI laptop drive under the card (A special adapter is available when buying the card to convert the internal 50 pin low density interface into a 54 pin high density connector), Power is also suplied to the harddrive from the card itself for these 2.5" drives(No external power source needed).
The card protrudes a little out the back of the CDTV making room to fit the harddrive to the card, Two extra long screws are suplied to fit the card to the CDTV as the original ones would be a little to small.
The card comes with two disks and a decent sized instruction book to help you install the card and get your harddrive formated and the Workbench (OS) installed, The disks also include a Workbench Audio CD plaer and a special version of Amiga's HDToolbox for OS1.3. The manual covers both versions of the SCSI-TV. (CDTV & A570)
The interface will work in any CDTV regardless of the country you are in. (So importing the card is OK)
This card is what I use in one of my CDTVs and I have had no trouble with it what so ever (It is now 3 years since I bought it new from Amitrix). A great purchase.
The card bosts some other extra features like the addition of some SCSI 2 instructions which will speed up data transfer in some cases.
Like the other cards the Amitrix SCSI-TV can have upto 7 devices connected at once to it and they can be internal, External or a nice good mixture.
Unfortunatly after the release of the Aweb`s source code Amitrix appears to have stopped trading but OldSoftware.com do have this card in stock at a very good price.
