The CDTV's Hidden Credits.

What is an Easter Egg?

Commodore engineers had a little knack to hide text in there Amigas, Motherboards and upgrades almost always have a song name like "Rock Lobster" and "The Edge" (By B52) but they also built credits and messages into the operating system.
The CDTV has one of these built into the Proms, This is a simple one with the names of the designers.

And how to find it.

To run the Easter Egg go into the preference screen and select the language selection, Now for a little joypad work,
You must type in the text found on the top of the joypad (Which says "Commodore CDTV Remote Controler").
There is a code though, If the letter isnt o press the left button, If it is press right button.
This means you press LRLLRLRLLLLLLLLLRLLLRLLLRLLL
Then the languages will change into names which you can then cycle round, Leaving the remote for a short time (Say to take a picture) will make the menu close and return to the first screen.

Workbench 1.3 (The OS found on the CDTV) also has some easter eggs built in (As do all of the Workbench revisions).
On the top right of the 1.3 Printer Prefs screen are two mouse buttons; one for speed, and one for delay.
If you click on these buttons in series starting at top left to bottom righ   (four times each for a total of sixteen clicks),
then go to "Change Printer" and highlight "Custom" (or "Generic", I forget which one),
then look at the title bar for a hidden message.

The following messages appear in the title bar of Workbench,
if the given keys are pressed together with both Alt and both Shift keys:

Note: To view the messages that appeared in the title bar,
and still have enough time to note them/make a screen shot,
just select "Last Error" from the Workbench menu.
